A detailed conference program will be available on September 22, 2010

CONCURRENT SESSIONS

About: Rooms will be equipped with a computer and a data projector. A laser pointer will also be provided. Oral presentations will be limited to 20 minutes: 15 minutes for presenting and 5 minutes for questions. Time will be strictly enforced by session chairs to keep concurrent sessions in synchrony.

How to save your file: Please save your Microsoft PowerPoint oral presentations to a USB stick (preferred), CD, or DVD. We strongly recommend you also save your presentation on a back-up medium and bring that to the conference as well. Presentation file names should include the day of presentation and your last name as follows: Tuesday26_Jones.

If you have an embedded video, please contact us. If your presentation will contain fonts that are not standard (such as syllabic fonts), please embed the fonts.  This can be done under “Tools->Save options” when you are saving your file.

How to submit your presentation: Presentations will be submitted onsite at the conference. All presentations MUST be submitted to the speaker preparation room (Eton Room) AT LEAST ONE DAY BEFORE your presentation. Presentations will NOT be uploaded in the individual session rooms. A volunteer will assist with presentation submission.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

About: Posters will be displayed throughout the Workshop. One dedicated poster session will be held Thursday morning between 10:30-12:00 for discussion between authors and attendees. Presenting authors are requested to attend this session.

Timing: Presenters may set-up posters starting at 15:00 on Monday, October 25 and leaving them up until the end of the conference at 17:00 on Thursday (October 28).

How to prepare your poster: Each poster presenter will be provided with a surface to mount their posters, as well as pushpins. In order to accommodate two posters on each side of the poster board, each poster is limited to 42” (105 cm) tall by 42” (105 cm) wide. Poster materials should be legible from a distance of 6.5 feet (two meters). Lettering in text and figures should be at least 5 mm, and the heading should be at least 10 mm. The title of the paper, the authors and their affiliations should appear near the top of the poster in letters approximately 25 mm high.
