Participants in the 13th NACW are invited to submit a manuscript of their original paper or poster presentation for inclusion in a Special Issue of Rangifer. These manuscripts will be peer reviewed and published online (Open Access) as the Proceedings of the 13th North American Caribou Workshop.

To participants submitting a manuscript, the deadline for submission has been extended to January 7, 2011. The Editorial Committee still hope to have manuscripts reviewed and decisions communicated to the authors within a few months of this deadline. Our publication goal is for early October 2011.

Different types of manuscripts will be considered including special communications (e.g. presentations made in the plenary sessions and the talking/sharing circles, summary of the concurrent sessions by the lead person if appropriate) and research papers in a format that corresponds to
different disciplines (e.g. natural sciences, social sciences, resources management, culture, education). The editorial team will respond to
different writing styles and ensure quality publishing.

Manuscripts for review should be submitted as a single word document and emailed to proceedings@nacw2010.ca. On acceptance the authors will be asked to provide figures and tables as separate files of suitably high resolution (see author guidelines for more details).
